2026-2027 Volunteer Opportunities

The PTA Volunteer Program is one of the most rewarding and meaningful ways parents can support the students and staff at our school. Our campus is home to an incredible community, but with 54% of our students identified as economically disadvantaged, we truly depend on the generosity and involvement of families like yours to make a difference for every child.

 

Whether you can volunteer often or only occasionally, your help matters more than you know. We have opportunities for every schedule and personality, from hands-on roles at school events to cozy “pajama positions” that you can do right from home.

 

Please take a moment to review the descriptions of each volunteer area and mark the ones that interest you. Once you share your preferences, the PTA board member or committee chair organizing that activity will reach out with more details.

El Programa de Voluntariado de la PTA es una de las formas más gratificantes y significativas en las que los padres pueden apoyar a los estudiantes y al personal de nuestra escuela. Not all volunteering requires a trip to school! Our “Pajama Jobs” are perfect for parents and caregivers who want to help but need flexible, at-home options. You can make a big difference right from your couch—no commute required.

 

These roles include tasks like preparing communication materials, helping with planning or coordination, updating spreadsheets, making phone calls, or promoting events online. Whether you have 15 minutes a week or a couple of hours a month, your behind-the-scenes support keeps our PTA programs running smoothly and helps our students and teachers shine.

¡No todo el voluntariado requiere venir a la escuela! Nuestras “posiciones en pijama” son ideales para padres y tutores que desean ayudar pero necesitan opciones flexibles desde casa. Puedes marcar una gran diferencia sin salir de tu sala, sin necesidad de trasladarte.

A financial reconciliation committee is comprised of 3 members and is responsible for reviewing the financial records as specified by the Texas PTA Financial Reconciliation Checklist. The committee is responsible for reviewing all financial transactions from the previous year to ensure that expenditures are properly documented and conform with the approved budget and the PTA's governing documents.
